2021 Summer Northeast Showcase (Tues/Wed)
Alexander Sollecito is a 2022 1B/RHP/3B with a 6-4 210 lb. frame from Jersey City, NJ who attends St. Peter's Preparatory. From a broad strong build, Sollecito showcased the skills at 1B with a full arm action and flashes of horizontal range. Cleaning up the footwork slightly should yield more accurate throws with increased velocity behind them. On the mound, Sollecito topped 73 mph from a high 3/4 arm slot and compact repeatable mechanics. He worked in the zone and mixed in a 10-4 slider to keep hitters consistently reaching. Offensively, the righty started from a slightly open narrow stance with most of his contact to the pull side with the barrel out in front. Ran a 7.74 60 yard dash.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
