Chase Scarbrough is a 2024 RHP/3B with a 6-2 175 lb. frame from Buford, GA who attends Buford. Long and lean broad shouldered build, lots of physical projection remaining. Compact high leg raise delivery on the mound, medium length arm circle to a high 3/4's arm slot, good direction down the mound, doesn't always get over his front side cleanly. Fastball topped out at 81 mph, plenty more velocity there with physical maturity and additional strength, gets some running action at times when down in the zone. Threw a soft sweeping slider as his breaking ball. 7.29 runner in the sixty. Plays the middle infield when not on the mound, young lower half actions with a quick release and a smooth arm action. Right handed hitter, starts with a big back tap load that can impact his timing, rotational upper body swing, swings hard and flashed some middle of the field power when he's squared up. Good student.
