Fabian Amaro is a 2022 C/1B with a 5-11 180 lb. frame from Las Piedras, PR who attends Timber Creek. Medium athletic frame with square shoulders and present strength proportioned nicely throughout frame. Ran a 7.13 60-yard dash. Primary catcher, lower set behind the plate, sound footwork coming out of crouch and remains consistent with mechanics, receives the ball cleanly out front, works to a higher slot with a quick transfer, solid arm strength and very good accuracy on a line to second base. Right-handed hitter, begins with a slightly open stance and a high hand set; utilizes a leg lift trigger for timing, stays simple overall with a balanced base. Keeps hands inside the ball but shows quickness to them, looks to work to all parts of the field, shows bat speed through the zone and strength off of the barrel when extended and on time, shorter stroke overall. Very good student.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
