Leo Marrero is a 2026 C/1B with a 6-0 200 lb. frame from Wauchula, FL who attends Hardee. Medium, broad shouldered frame with present strength proportioned throughout. Ran a 7.49 60-yard dash. Primary catcher, lower set up behind the plate, quick coming out of crouch with a quick transfer and online/accurate throws, will continue to refine overall skills with additional reps, plays under control and shows some lightness in actions. Plays back on balls in the outfield, shows nice footwork coming through the ball once underway, full arm action with easy carry and strength out of the hand to intended target. Left-handed hitter, begins with a slightly open stance and a high hand set and back elbow at the plate, small leg lift trigger for timing in the box. Strength plays, generates leverage and shows juice to the pull side, can hit the low ball and shows rhythm in hands, controls the barrel well and can hit to all fields on a line. Very good student.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
