Luke Raburn is a 2027 1B/RHP, C, UT with a 5-9 155 lb. frame from Marietta, GA who attends Lassiter. Medium, athletic build with solid projection to the body. Ran a 7.58 60-yard dash. Right-handed hitter, wide base with high hands in the stance, compact swing working to contact with a direct barrel path through the zone. Turned the barrel over at times, showing solid impact to the pull-side and it comes off the barrel well for the age. Primary first baseman, bounces off the bag well with fundamental footwork, clean and quick transfers on turns, developing arm strength across the diamond. Recorded accurate throws up to 67 mph. Secondary right-handed pitcher, worked quickly and pounded the zone with a two pitch mix. Short and clean arm action to a high three-quarters slot. Ran the fastball up to 70 mph (1663 RPM) and landed a curveball, up to 62 mph with 12-6 shape. Also worked out at catcher and showed solid actions with similar arm strength and accuracy we saw at first base. Good student.
