Colin Thacker is a 2026 C/1B/3B with a 5-11 185 lb. frame from Orlando, FL who attends Windermere. Features a medium-sized build with some compact strength that profiles well behind the plate. During throwdowns, worked from a knee down set up that got quite tall into reception. Solid exchange that happened at the mid-chest. Keeps the arm short/quick out the glove and to release where he it showed quality strength where most were accurate to the bag with a few one-hops. At 1B, showed developing actions. Got into a decent fielding position but botched a couple GBs. Showed arm strength across but made quality DP feeds displaying quickness on his turns. At the plate, stands in a tall/relaxed stance with loose hands. Early toe-tap trigger where got into launch with a more upright torso and barrel. Path works more down-and-through with noticeable strength, bat speed and quality length out front. Consistent out front intent driving several hard LDs down the line and foul. Barrel accuracy and timing were inconsistent at times but potential power/impact makes it an interesting offensive profile.
