Payne Cearnal is a 2026 OF with a 6-0 160 lb. frame from Arlington, TX who attends IMG Academy. Lanky athletic build with lots of room to fill in and get stronger. 7.08 runner in the sixty. Primary outfielder on defense, foot work is fine working through the ball, stays under control and directional, lower arm slot, makes accurate throws. Right handed hitter, sets up in an open base with a small shoulder turn load and a short shift in, repeatable swing mechanics that time up well, line drive swing plane, hits to all fields and shows barrel control, bat speed will continue to improve with additional strength. Outstanding student.
