Cooper Nash is a 2027 OF/LHP with a 5-1 100 lb. frame from Youngsville, NC who attends Franklinton. Recorded a 9.05 second sixty-yard dash time. Smaller frame with plenty of time and room to physically mature. Primary outfielder with a fundamentally sound defensive skill set and some upside as he continues to add strength. Fields properly off his front foot and maintains momentum well into release. Recorded developing arm strength up to 65 mph during drills. Secondary left-handed pitcher that works from an abbreviated windup with coiled leg lift into balance and shorter stride out to foot strike. Showed developing command of the strike zone, throwing mostly fastball for strikes and mixed in a loose breaking ball that varied in shape. Fastball worked in the upper-50s for most of his outing, topping out at 61 mph from a three-quarters arm slot. Left-handed hitter that hits from a narrow, open stance with a high hand set, low back elbow and leg lift trigger for timing. Hands driven swing with rotational lower half mechanics and linear swing path. Tends to leave his backside behind, which inhibits his bat speed. Displayed consistent contact and swing translated well into game play. Developing young prospect with plenty of projection remaining.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
