Jobe Smith is a 2023 OF/RHP, UT with a 5-11 180 lb. frame from Desloge, MO who attends North Co. Sr.. He has a medium frame and a stocky build with plenty of present strength. Ran the sixty yard dash in 7.00 seconds. Primary outfielder that fields the ball of his front foot well. He has clean footwork and has fluid motions throughout his throwing motion. He has a loose arm that has good strength and creates carry on his throws. Secondary infielder that showed the same smoothness in his footwork and motions around the ball. Offensively he starts with a wide base and uses a knee-to-knee load and stride. He does a nice job utilizing the strength in his lower half, driving through balls and creating power. He has quick hands allowing him to generate bat speed through the zone. Good student.
