Tyler Young is a 2025 RHP/1B, 3B with a 5-11 175 lb. frame from Hilton Head Island, SC who attends Hilton Head Island. Primary right-handed pitcher with a medium frame and strong build. Recorded a 8.12 second 60-yard dash time. Full windup with slightly open landing down the slope. Fastball with arm side run up to 71 mph (1823 RPM) and curveball 64 mph (1523 RPM). Occasional sink on the fastball with run to both sides of the plate. Secondary first baseman with a deep two-hand funnel and long arm swing on throws across the diamond at 67 mph. Right-handed hitter with an even base and weight on the backside setup in the box. Hanging knee-lift trigger with hands separating into slot. Uses the whole field with length through the zone. Excellent student.
