2025 PG Southeast High School All-State Games (Invite Only)
Johnny Deaderick is a 2027 RHP/1B/3B with a 6-4 203 lb. frame from Marietta, GA who attends Blessed Trinity Catholic. Broad shouldered athletic build with good present strength and more to come. Works only from the stretch from the third base side of the rubber, gets coiled well over the rubber, gets down the mound well for the most part, compact 3/4's arm action that hides the ball well. Fastball topped out at 85 mph, has been up to 88 mph at past PG events, worked both two-seam and four-seam with the expected life/velo differences, worked his fastball to both sides of the plate and had good feel for it. Threw a short slider with good spin that got off barrels well, showed some sweeping depth at times. Threw a firm straight change up that could use a bit more life and velo differential. Used his full mix of pitches well and threw strikes while challenging hitters. Excellent student. Named to the PG Southeast HS All-State Games Top Prospect List.
