DJ Jones is a 2027 SS/RHP/OF with a 5-11 170 lb. frame from Lawrenceville, GA who attends East Cobb Baseball Academy. Square shouldered medium athletic build. 6.64 runner in the sixty. Primary shortstop on defense who has potential in center field as well. In the outfield, its a quick first step with speed to track in the gaps. Clean glove actions and throws with zip and carry. Accurate to both bases. In the infield, he is quick laterally with efficient feel for angles. Clean glove with carry across the diamond. Perfomed well on both sides in game. Switch hitter with mirrored set up, wide base, high hands, and clean path. Quick bat with plenty of usable in game power, got to it in game as well as batting practice. Twitch and barrel feel present. On the mound, its a hybrid windup with cross fire operation. Obvious arm speed traits. Changes the slot to throw the curveball but was over the plate enough to force weak contact. Good student. Named to the PG National Underclass Showcase-Main Event Presented by GEICO Top Prospect List.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
