Dylan Martinez is a 2023 SS/RHP/OF with a 5-11 130 lb. frame from Forney, TX who attends Forney. Recorded a 7.64 second 60 yard dash time. Medium frame with a wiry and lean build. Primary shortstop that moves well laterally with loose and athletic actions. Short arm action with a quick release, gets in position early. Secondary right-handed pitcher with a free and loose delivery. Shows easy release from a three-quarters slot, on line arm action with decent arm speed. Fills up the zone, big curveball with good shape and spin, lands it consistently for strikes and gets swings and misses. Has the tendency to leave fastballs up in zone, location will improve as he stays on top of the ball. Right-handed hitter with a high hand and back elbow set, shows a fluid stroke and flat bat path. Stays up the middle, at his best when simplifying the approach. Young prospect that has an idea and will continue to improve with added strength. Excellent student.
