Grant Thigpen is a 2023 OF/LHP with a 5-10 160 lb. frame from Newnan, GA who attends Landmark Christian. Medium frame with a lean and athletic build. Ran a 7.40 second 60-yard dash. Primary outfielder, plays back on the ball a bit with short strides to it but shows solid arm strength up to 76 mph from a longer arm stroke that produced good carry to bags. Right-handed hitter, swings the bat loosely and athletically, works the hands out front well to create lift at impact. Under control overall and could create more carry off the barrel with incorporating his lower half a bit more. Great student.
