Danny Deaver is a 2023 3B/RHP/MIF with a 6-0 175 lb. frame from Parker, TX who attends Allen. Large and lengthy build with room to still strengthen as he continues to develop. Primary infielder, still comprehending how to use his long legs as he moves into the hole as well as up the middle. Glove works well out in front, fields a little deep, gathers well. Arm strength across will continue to develop nicely alongside his build. On the mound, has a longer arm action from a high three-quarters slot. Pitches exclusively out of the stretch with a mid high leg lift. Comes set with high hands, fastball up to 74 mph. Smooth overall delivery, mixes in a high 11-to-5 shaped curveball with some depth. At the plate, uses an upright and even stance with a large leg kick trigger. Hands drop down as he goes back into his load, looks to use the middle of the field, great student in the classroom as well.
