Logan Katz is a 2026 C/UT with a 5-11 160 lb. frame from Londonderry, NH who attends The Winchendon. Medium, compact build with well-proportioned strength present and projection remaining. Primary catcher, sets up in a side saddled stance and gets out of the crouch with urgency. Gains sufficient ground, remaining inline as he separates into a shorter arm path. Has plenty of quickness in the lower-half with sound footwork. Delivered accurate throws to the bag while recording arm strength up to 71 mph with a pop time of 1.97 sec. Right-handed hitter, starts in a wider stance with flat hands and a high back elbow. Utilizes a lift and replace trigger for timing before working into an on-plane stroke. Produced several low line drives to the opposite-field gap during batting practice. Displayed plenty of bat speed with evident strength in the hands. Posted an exit velocity of 82 mph. Ran a 7.66 sixty-yard dash. Excellent student. Named to the 2024 Mid-Atlantic Uncommitted Prospect Showcase Top Prospect List.
