Jason Baker is a 2022 OF/2B, SS, MIF, UT with a 5-9 130 lb. frame from Euless, TX who attends Trinity. Lean build. Ran the sixty yard dash in 7.31 seconds. A primary OF, he showed solid footwork that was fundamentally sound when approaching balls. His best throw from the outfield grass registered at 74 mph from the OF and 71 mph from the INF which will only improve once the frame continues to mature. He showed a quick first step in the infield dirt and has soft hands to both sides of his body. At the plate he showed a compact stroke and plenty of intent in his swings.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
