Joel Arroyo is a 2026 OF/RHP/IF with a 6-2 185 lb. frame from Homestead, FL who attends Piper. Long and athletic frame. Long levers throughout, with projection moving forward & strength throughout. Plenty of physicality. Ran a 7.03 60-yard dash. Primary outfielder who threw 91 mph during his round of defensive reps. Showed good intent to the feet with over-the-top downhill throws coming out of a good arm slot. He showed athletic actions with crow-hop release, funneling well through the ball. Showed urgency throughout the round. He also worked out as an infielder, working up to 88 mph across the diamond with clean footwork and a good release across the diamond. He created angles well and was a clean mover on the dirt, moving well laterally & showing off good accuracy. At the plate, he's a right-handed hitter with a wider base, high-set hands, and an athletic look. He uses a rock-back load with a ton of bat speed and strength to impact it well. He got good extension working through the ball, showing consistent swings during his round of BP and replicating the mechanics well. He worked gap-to-gap & was on the barrel during his round. Produced a 91 mph exit velocity during DK testing. Hit well in-game with a ton of XBHs & played pepper with the wall for a 3-hit performance. Got on the mound and worked 81-85 mph on the fastball, spinning it above 2,000 RPMs. He had a standard side-step delivery, working from the first base side of the mound with a belt-high leg lift. He is compact working down the slope, pitching from a higher three-quarters arm slot. The fastball worked up in the top of the zone, occasionally cutting it. He has some angle when he gets out in front and is able to attack hitters well. He showed a breaking ball in the low-70s with spin above 2,000 RPMs with a bigger shape and depth to it. Put together a great outing on the mound. Excellent student. Named to the National Underclass Main Event Showcase Top Prospect List.
