Trey Wiggins is a 2025 1B/RHP, 3B with a 6-2 210 lb. frame from Milledgeville, GA who attends Gatewood. Ran a 7.22 second sixty-yard dash time. Primary first baseman with physicality to the build and large, projectable frame with strength. Moves well with first step quickness and feel for the glove. Fields out front with sound fundamentals to operation. Arm takes a short and quick arm action that produces throws across the infield at 80-mph with online result. Secondary right-handed pitcher with full windup and long, unrestricted arm action to high slotted release. Pitched with confidence and drove down the mound straight to the plate with tempo and rhythm to release from a over-top slot. Fastball at 82-mph with life and occasion run arm-side. Curveball at 66-mph with developing rotation and 10-4 shape. Changeup had arm speed for sell at 61-mph. Right-handed hitter with open stance and hands high in his setup. Hand load with some evident hand-eye led to hard barreled contact to the pull side gap. Stays patient in the box which helps adjust to pitch location with feel for the barrel. Able to catch outside pitch deep and take it to right field. Good student.
