Carson French is a 2023 RHP/OF with a 6-0 175 lb. frame from West Chester, OH who attends Lakota East. Medium athletic build with good present strength for his age, projects very well physically. Works from the stretch with a simple leg lift delivery working to a high 3/4's arm slot, gets good extension out front, has the ability to vary the timing in his delivery with runners on and still keep his arm on time. Topped out at 83 mph with his fastball, can add and subtract from his fastball and gets good running life at times, has an advanced ability for his age to spot his fastball to different quadrants of the zone with intent. Curveball had good power and spin with solid 11/5 depth. Broke three bats with his ability to pitch inside. Very interesting young pitcher with present skill and lots of physical projectability. Good student. Named to the Sunshine Showcase Top Prospect List.
