Mathews Sosa is a 2026 C/OF with a 5-10 175 lb. frame from Cape Coral, FL who attends Florida Virtual. Medium athletic build with some present strength. Primary catcher on defense, side saddle set with soft hands to receive. Good bounce out of the set, does a nice job of gaining ground. Quick and repeatable transfers displayed, posted a 1.92 pop time with plenty of present arm strength. Also worked from the OF, topped out at 88 mph with refining accuracy.
