Chance Dixon is a 2026 SS/2B/OF with a 5-8 140 lb. frame from Atlanta, GA who attends Woodward Academy. Medium, athletic frame with square shoulders and a lean build, room to fill throughout moving forward. Ran a 6.95 60-yard dash. Primary shortstop, moves well on feet and shows clean actions to and through the baseball, glove works out front, nice tools to build upon, accurate throws across the diamond and on top of throws consistently, nice feel for fundamentals and comfort at the position. Also pitched, begins with an even leg lift up to belt, full wind up with balance through the finish. Fastball topped out at 79 mph, shows running life through the zone and filled the zone, mixed a curveball with depth and 11-5 shape in nicely up up to 71 mph. Switch-hitter, showed more present bat speed from the right side, hands start tight, aggressive in approach and shows ability to use all fields, projects with added strenght. Left-handed swing, starts with tight hands and stays inside the ball, contact oriented approach with a linear path through the zone. Very good student.
