Nash Ivie is a 2026 2B/RHP/3B with a 5-9 165 lb. frame from Marietta, GA who attends Pope. Medium build with some present strength and more to come. 7.86 runner in the sixty. Primary second baseman on defense, moves side to side well, fields the ball cleanly and can make the routine play, some developing arm strength for the position. Right handed hitter, hits from a spread stance with an exaggerated high hand load and high back elbow, two-part hand load, unusual hitting approach, handled the barrel well with pull side to mid field contact. Also pitched, big hand drop start from a high hand set, high leg tuck and coil over the rubber, drives down the mound well with his back side. Did a good job throwing strikes with a three pitch mix featuring a low to mid-70's fastball, mid-60's curveball and change up. Good student.
