Sims DeLong is a 2023 RHP/3B with a 6-2 160 lb. frame from Atlanta, GA who attends North Atlanta. A primary pitcher with a lean projectable frame that will continue to fill out as he reaches physical maturation. On the mound he starts with a side step into a leg lift above the belt while the arm works quick through the back up to a higher arm slot. He showed good athleticism and balance through the delivery with good pace to the overall operation. He sat 84-87 mph with the fastball cutting it at times and working to the glove side consistently, the curveball sat in the upper 60's with sluvry actions while the changeup has good hand speed in the mid 70's. Excellent student.
