Baron Beccan is a 2027 C/RHP/1B with a 6-2 200 lb. frame from Loganville, GA who attends Grayson. Features a more physical build with present strength. Ran a 7.89 60-yd dash. Showed developing catch/throw actions behind the plate and at 1B. During throwdowns operated from a standard set up and showed avg. quickness out the crouch with minimal ground gained. Used a mid-chest exchange into a compact arm action that got off throws with minimal strength down to 2nd. At first, worked more tall and upright through his footwork and was late in getting into posture and getting the glove down. Arm showed more strength at 1B where he got off accurate throws across. At the plate, sits in a taller open stance and uses a simple/small stride into launch. Hands load into a lower set. Hands dominant swing that push the barrel through. Rotational type swing as the path work uphill into launch. Flashes of above avg. bat speed but with minimal twitch. Inconsistent timing and barrel feel but flashed strength and impact when he caught it front, barreling a few hard ones to the pull side.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
