Jaxon Valdez is a 2025 1B/RHP, 3B, OF with a 6-1 200 lb. frame from Queen Creek, AZ who attends Williams Field. Large, physical frame with corner projection long term. Ran a 7.73 60-yard dash. Primary first baseman, solid turns, slower feet around the bag that work, developing arm strength, accurate to the bag, good overall round here and should comfortably handle the spot in games. Outfield reps, longer hangup in the slow, compact three-quarters arm slot, lower temp mover. Took reps in the infield, slower arm and build up, lower urgency actions and round, accurate arm, made the plays here. Left-handed hitter, wider base, very high hands, tied up some, tendency to step in the bucket, line drive approach, some thump off the barrel when square. Some components to like long term in the profile. Outstanding student.
