2026 PG Mid-Atlantic Indoor Showcase
James Sanfilippo is a 2029 OF/RHP/MIF with a 5-11 155 lb. frame from Moorestown, NJ who attends Bishop Eustace Prep. Lean young build with lots of time and room to fill out and get stronger. 7.38 runner in the sixty. Primary outfielder on defense who shows lots of potential on the mound as well. Attacks the ball well in the outfield with good footwork and pace, made low and accurate on line throws with nice carry for his age. Right handed hitter, sets up in a slightly open stance with a well timed toe tap trigger, has very nice bat speed for his age and creates barrel whip and some jump off the barrel, best going pull side, lots of power projection here. Also pitched, works exclusively from the stretch from a closed start, fluid and pretty simple mechanics with good direction down the mound. Fastball topped out at 84 mph, mostly straight with occasional running life. Change up and curveball were both very nice pitches, killed the spin well on the change up with big fading action, curveball had a slurvy late break and 2500+ spin rates. Has tools and skills in all parts of the game and lots of physical projection. Good student. Named to the Mid-Atlantic Indoor Showcase Top Prospect List.
