Brady Chappell is a 2026 RHP/IF/OF with a 5-11 165 lb. frame from Naples, ME who attends Fryeburg Academy. Medium athletic build with good lower half strength. Works exclusively from the stretch with a high hand start and a high 3/4's arm slot and release. Fastball was his best pitch, topped out at 82 mph with good arm side run down in the zone and some carry through the zone up, threw strikes with his fastball to get ahead in counts. Threw his curveball frequently, had good spin and a good downer dopth but still developing consistency in his release. Also flashed a fading change up. 7.49 runner in the sixty. Played outfield when not on the mound, showed his arm strength very well when he was able to carry his momentum through his throws, encouraging for his future mound potential, still developing footwork and fundamentals through the ball. Right handed hitter, starts from a narrow and slightly open stance with an exaggerated high back elbow that ties up his swing, loses the barrel early with a looping swing path, can make adjustments to improve. Excellent student. Named to the Northeast Academic Showcase Top Prospect List.
