2006 Atlantic Coast Underclass Showcase
Ty Morrison is a 2008 OF from Great Bridge HS in Chesapeake, VA with a 6'1", 150 lb. frame. Ty has a lean athletic build and ran the fastest 60-yard dash at the showcase with a 6.70. Ty showed very solid raw hitting tools that should improve as he gets stronger. He has a smooth tension free swing that has a nice swing plane. He showed the ability to extend through the ball and drive the ball to all fields. With his speed and a solid arm Ty has the ability to project at all outfield positions. Ty should be a highest-level college prospect when his senior year rolls around.
