Andrew Garner is a 2021 OF/RHP with a 6-2 205 lb. frame from Lanham, MD who attends Bishop Mcnamara. Big and strong athletic build. Right handed hitter, sets up with a low hand start and has a uphill swing plane, relaxed stance, swings hard and can put a charge into the ball on his pitch, best on balls low in the zone, mid field to pull side contact, some swing and miss in his approach but is going to run into balls and hit them a long way, too. 7.39 runner, has some footwork through the ball in the outfield, loose extended arm action with some occasional carry. Also pitched, well paced side step delivery with a high leg raise, some hand wrap in back, 3/4's arm slot. Mid-70's fastball with some cutting life at times, short slider to get off barrels, developing change up, works down in the strike zone well. Good student.
