Samford Halcomb is a 2025 OF/RHP with a 5-11 165 lb. frame from Suwanee, GA who attends North Gwinnett. Slender young athletic build. 6.77 runner in the sixty, moves to the ball well in the outfield with some bounce and quickness to his step, fielded the ball cleanly out front, showed good footwork into his throws. Left handed hitter, hits from a medium base with a short stride into contact, drifts into his swing and will leave his hands behind at times, swings hard and looks to drive the ball, could show more consistency in his timing and barrel path. Also pitched, has a short and compact 3/4's arm action with a short stride out front. Pitched mostly in the upper 70's, tended to be straight but did a good job throwing strikes and challenging hitters. Also threw a short slider. Should keep improving in all areas with additional strength.
