Aaron Bailey is a 2026 3B/RHP/OF with a 6-3 200 lb. frame from McCalla, AL who attends McAdory. Well built physical build, broad shoulders with lots of upper body strength. Two-way prospect. 6.87 runner in the sixty. Primary third baseman on defense, is light on his feet for his size and moves well side to side, one handed fielder with a good idea on glove positioning, solid arm strength from different arm slots, all the tools to be a solid defensive third baseman. Also worked out in the outfield and showed the same type of athleticism and arm strength, makes strong on line throws. Right handed hitter, hits from a square stance with a small leg raise load, short and compact swing with mostly line drive swing plane and contact, flashed the ability to create lift in batting practice then launched a game home run, strong hitter with an accurate barrel, really projects as a hitter. Has a deep arm action on the mound working to a high 3/4's arm slot, gets downhill well on all his pitches and maintains his slot well. Fastball topped out at 85 mph, showed feel for both a distinct short slider and a bigger downer curveball, both have notable bite and are tunneled well, can throw any of his three pitches at any point in the count. Very good overall balance of tools and skills across the spectrum. Excellent student. Named to the Sunshine Southeast Showcase Top Prospect List.
