2021 Northeast Prospect Showcase
Owen Kalagher is a 2023 MIF/OF with a 6-1 150 lb. frame from Fairfield, CT who attends Fairfield College Preparatory. Kalagher worked from both the infield and outfield out of a strong athletic build, showcasing accurate throws and clean footwork at each position. As a primary MIF, he displayed solid range up the middle with soft hands and smooth transfers to release the ball quickly. At the dish, Kalagher started from a compact even stance with the ability to use the entire field. He flashed bat speed through the zone and should continue to develop power potential. Ran a 6.97 sixty yard dash.
