Elias Conway is a 2023 LHP/1B, OF with a 6-0 170 lb. frame from East Nassau, NY who attends Columbia. Medium, athletic frame with square shoulders and present strength to frame, additional room to grow moving forward. Lefthanded pitcher, works exclusively out of the stretch, leg lift up past belt, simple delivery with a short and clean arm action through the back working to a three-quarters slot with extension out front. Fastball topped out at 84 mph, ball comes out cleanly with low effort and shows heavy life down in the zone. Occasionally gets mistimed, maintains velocity and can challenge hitters in. Curveball shows 1-7 shape with depth, tunnels it well, sound spin and can miss bats with the pitch. Mixed well, fastball shows some late riding life to it. Nice young arm to follow. Good student. Named to Fall Northeast Top Prospect List.
