Xavier Colon is a 2022 RHP/OF with a 6-0 175 lb. frame from Temecula, CA who attends Great Oak. Athletic build with some present strength and room for more. Fast paced delivery on the mound with an over the top arm slot, gets his lower half fully turned and gets into his lower half well. Fastball topped out at 81 mph, lively fastball with sink down in the zone and nice riding action up. Throws a big slow curveball as his breaking ball, also mixed in an occasional change up. Showed some tools as a left handed hitter, swings hard and has some raw bat speed, strong enough to create nice jump on impact, compact swing with mostly pull side contact. 7.37 runner in the sixty. Has athletic actions in the outfield on defense, moves to the ball well, showed his arm strength and carry. Good student.
