Guarionex Carrion Lanzo is a 2025 C/1B/3B with a 5-11 180 lb. frame from San Juan, PR who attends Reborn Christian Academy. Solid, well developed frame with a strong build and power oriented athleticism. Ran the 60-yard dash in 7.46 seconds. Primary position catcher, working from an offset one-knee stance sitting in deep behind the dish. Is able to gain ground on transfer as he works the glove out front to clean midline prep to throw. High effort throws through a medium arm path creating clean backspin on throws up to 77 mph and pop time best 1.98 seconds. Right handed hitter, using an upright stance, barrow base with high handset and high back elbow. Simple move to launch and shows strength at impact. Consistently on the barrel showing feel and ball jumps when he doesn't get too steep on his path to contact. Solid offensive catcher skillset here and is an outstanding student as well.
