2021 National Underclass Showcase-Main Event
Fernando Serrano-Osorio is a 2023 RHP/OF with a 5-9 165 lb. frame from Canovanas, PR who attends Antilles HS. Recorded a 7.67 second 60-yard dash time. Medium frame with a younger build and plenty of room to fill out. Primary right-handed pitcher who throws exclusively from the stretch. Fastball shows late sinking life with a low effort release. Confidence in the breaking ball that he tunnels well. Simple, controlled mechanics with a loose arm. Short, compact arm action that he repeats well. Living low in the strike zone with a solid two pitch mix. Arm strength also plays from secondary position of the outfield. Right-handed hitter with a narrow and slightly closed stance, deep hand set, and upper half dominant swing. Downhill swing plane with a middle of the field approach. All fields contact with a contact oriented approach. Great student.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
