Jose Doubront is a 2026 SS/RHP/IF with a 6-1 190 lb. frame from Greenville, SC who attends Greenville Senior High School. Big and strong broad shouldered build. Right handed hitter, hits from a spread and slightly open stance, has fast and strong hands, looking to pull and drive the ball, physical swing with hard contact, highest level performer at the plate with plenty of juice. 7.52 runner in the sixty. Primary shortstop on defense, has corner infield tools and athleticism, throws from a lower slot but has some arm strength when he gets on top, chance to stick at third base with continued work on his lower half quickness and actions. Took a turn on the mound, works from a standard wind up with some coil over the rubber, low to mid 3/4's arm slot, hides the ball well with a compact arm action. Had plenty of running action on a fastball up to 83 mph, has shown more velocity in the past from a higher slot. Bat is his tool. Excellent student.
