Anthony Fuentes is a 2025 SS/RHP, MIF with a 5-9 150 lb. frame from Dickinson, TX who attends Dickinson High School. Recorded a 7.18 second 60-yard dash time. Primary shortstop with a medium frame and lean athletic build. Quick feet on the dirt with lateral range to both sides. Clean mid-line funnel out front with clean exchange and throws across the diamond with big arm strength at 91 mph. Secondary right-handed pitcher with a staggered feet start from the first base side of the rubber. Slightly closed landing down the slope with a high arm slot release to get over the front side. Creates some angle when out front on the fastball up to 84 mph (2129 RPM). Featured a solid breaking ball with depth as a secondary offering at 74 mph will a solid spin rate (2332 RPM). Right-handed hitter with an upright stance and high back elbow slot. Quiet hands with trigger to impact and feel for the barrel. Some bat speed controlling the barrel to all fields. Increased impact as he gains size and strength in frame. Excellent student. Named to the South Prospect Showcase Top Prospect List.
