Logan Anderson is a 2023 LHP/OF with a 6-2 175 lb. frame from Snoqualmie, WA who attends Mount Si. Worked as a pitcher only showing off a very large frame that is lanky with a lean build showing the space to grow into the frame. The delivery has a wide side step with a controlled pace to the front leg lift, seeing it get to mid-height before using the length down the hill. Lands closed allowing him to finish through the front side and stay inline down the hill. The compact, 3/4 arm works from a wider slot allowing him to run, cut, and sink the fastball (up to 78 MPH) in and out of the zone while missing bats or getting weak contact. The slider (top 71 MPH) was his complement to the fastball, being short with a lateral cut using it in and out of the zone. The break on the pitch was tight and late and induced swings for strikeouts. It was a strong outing and the upside is available as Anderson grows into the frame. Good academic student.
