Cameron Rickabaugh is a 2023 C/IF with a 5-5 140 lb. frame from Hampstead, NC who attends Topsail. Shorter young build with the beginnings of some compact strength. 7.79 runner, has good fundamentals and footwork behind the plate, good projectable low half athleticism, arm strength still developing with a long swinging arm action that can be shortened, makes accurate soft throws. Right handed hitter, has a good shift into contact with a short and direct swing path, showed some hand quickness and the ability to get the barrel to the ball, has an idea how to hit with a high contact swing, will continue to improve offensively as he physically matures.
