Nolan Borgia is a 2026 3B/RHP/1B with a 5-9 150 lb. frame from Sanford, FL who attends Bishop Moore. Medium, narrow shouldered frame with present strength throughout frame. Ran a 7.95 60-yard dash. Primary third baseman, short steps moving towards the ball, hands play well at the ball and to the backhand, shows ability to change arm slot as needed, medium length to arm action through the back, nice present arm strength and carry across the diamond. Also pitched, higher leg lift up past belt, gets tall on backside and strides on line towards the plate, lands occasionally closed; longer arm action through the back working to three-quarters release point. Fastball topped out at 75 mph with short running life, gets inconsistent with release point, induces ground ball contact; curveball shows 12-6 shape up to 63 mph with some depth, tends to slow on release of changeup. Left-handed hitter, begins with a spread lower half, big load moving into contact and uncoils into contact well. Longer swing path through the zone and unlocks strength at point of contact, creates some whip to barrel, shows occasional lift to middle of the field, opens front side early at times. Excellent student.
