Cole Hoffman is a 2025 RHP/OF with a 6-1 180 lb. frame from Poway, CA who attends Del Norte. Features a well-proportioned build with present strength and projection. In the OF, showed athleticism in his approach, attacking the ball with quickness. Showed a longer arm swing working to a H ¾ release coming out with some strength and flashing carry up to 88 mph. At the plate, he sits with an even base with relaxed hands. Uses a hanging knee lift trigger with hands that stay pretty neutral throughout keeping the barrel into a good launch position. He works the barrel with easy bat speed on a flatter bat path through the zone that produces line drives to all fields with balance. On the mound, he side-steps into a slow belt high knee lift that then works with an aggressive drop into his driveleg with some quickness down the mound. Arm works longer out the glove and to release at a higher ¾ slot with present armspeed. Fastball worked up 91 flashing some armside run. His low 80s CH exhibited good diving action producing some whiffs throughout his outing. Flashed a developing low 70s curveball as well. Went three shutout innings in his outing. Currently uncommitted. Named to Top Prospects List.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
