2023 Fall Southeast Showcase
Nicolas Taylor is a 2026 OF/LHP/1B with a 5-11 165 lb. frame from Suwanee, GA who attends Peachtree Ridge. Medium athletic build with plenty of room to get stronger. Left handed hitter, hits from a slightly open stance with a busy hand load, has hand quickness and generates some young bat speed, can time up his separation better to improve his ability to turn the barrel, projects well as a hitter with additional strength. 7.12 runner in the sixty. Primary outfielder on defense, has bounce in his step coming to the ball, exaggerated crow hop slows down his release, arm works well and projects additional carry, showed his athleticism well. Also worked out at first base. Took a turn on the mound, works out of the stretch with a high hand start, works down the mound well with a 3/4's arm slot. Fastball topped out at 76 mph with some running action, also threw a slow curveball with some depth. Repeated his delivery well and threw strikes. Good student. Named to the Fall Southeast Showcase Top Prospect List.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
