David Bankston is a 2027 3B/RHP/OF with a 6-0 175 lb. frame from McDonough, GA who attends Georgia Premier Academy. Lean athletic build with some present strength and more to come. Great runner, ran a 6.49 60-yard dash. Right handed hitter, medium and even feet with high hands, knee lift trigger stride, stays balanced through impact with functional parts to the swing. Middle of the field approach and handles the barrel nicely, impacted into both gaps consistently. Primary third baseman, clean footwork working around the baseball with obvious feel for angles. Soft hands out front with quick exchanges and good arm strength across, throws have good carry and were recorded up to 88 mph. Secondary right-handed pitcher, crossfire delivery, arm works to a three-quarters slot, short stride down the slope. Pounded the zone with a two-pitch mix of a low-80s fastball, topping at 82 mph (1902 RPM) and mixed a horizontal shaped slider at 71 mph. Also worked out in the outfield and showed bouncy actions with good arm strength there too, recording throws up to 88 mph. Excellent student. Named to the PG Southeast HS All-State Games Top Prospect List.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
