Ben O'Neil is a 2022 C/RHP, IF, OF with a 5-11 175 lb. frame from Rancho Cucamonga, CA who attends Rancho Cucamonga. Medium frame with an athletic type build. Ran a 7.43 second sixty yard dash. Primary Catcher, comfortable in the set up as he sits down in his stance with flexibility. Receives the baseball and then takes big strides to gain ground on throw downs. Releases uphill and was accurate to the bag as he recorded a 2.01 second pop time. Some things to clean up mechanically but shows good feel for the position going forward. Right-Handed Hitter, starting balanced and in an athletic position. Active trigger and hands as he works into a linear swing path. Looked to spray it around the park on a line and did so with success. Outstanding Student.
