LATEST PG SHOWCASE REPORT
2023 Virginia Indoor Showcase (Feb. 26)
Von Pelow is a 2025 C/3B with a 5-10 170 lb. frame from Kannapolis, NC who attends Concord Academy. Medium athletic build with some present strength. Quick twitch athlete who showed his tools on both sides of the ball. Comes out of his crouch well behind the plate and works through the ball on his throws, arm slot can be a bit low at times but throws have good carry. Also worked out in the infield and has the athleticism to play there at the next level as well, plays low through the ball and has good feel for hi glove work. Right handed hitter, hits from an open to closed approach with a short and fast swing, has strength in his hands and the ball jumps hard on contact, worked the middle of the field consistently. Interesting young player with tools. Excellent student. Named to the Virginia Indoor Showcase Top Prospect List.
