2025 PG Southeast High School All-State Games (Invite Only)
Dominick Hopkins is a 2027 1B/RHP/OF with a 6-5 195 lb. frame from Woodstock, GA who attends The Kings Academy. Long and lean athletic build with tons of physical projection remaining. Primary first baseman who showed more present talent and a higher ceiling on the mound as a right handed pitcher. Has a full arm action on the mound with a coiled leg raise over the mound, very closed landing foot out front, high effort delivery with head violence, raw mechanics but unmistakable potential. Fastball topped out at 88 mph, mostly straight, also threw a couple of soft curveballs that are still in the developing stage. Right handed hitter, sets up in a medium straight stance with a a leg raise trigger, swings hard with a long and strong swing, tends to get off balance out front and loose direction through contact pulling off. 7.59 runner in the sixty. Had some athleticism at first base and repeated his actions well, also worked out in the outfield with young actions and fundamentals. Named to the PG Southeast HS All-State Games Top Prospect List.
