Michael Alfonso is a 2021 SS/RHP/3B with a 6-3 205 lb. frame from Key West, FL who attends Key West. Ran a 6.97 second 60-yard dash. Long and strong body with present physicality throughout. Primary shortstop, worked out in the infield with overall sound fundamentals, sets feet well into receiving, funnels it cleanly with twitch to movements, has great arm strength that plays well from the left side of the infield with improved accuracy. Also pitched, shows great potential on the mound working in the upper-80s from a lower slot that creates excellent life to the arm side on the fastball while mixing a slider with good shape and bite to it from the same slot in the low-70s. Right-handed hitter, starts slightly open, has strength in the swing with great bat speed on a level swing path with occasional tendency to get on the front foot and mishandle the barrel.
