Gavin Pufky is a 2024 1B/RHP/3B with a 5-10 145 lb. frame from Rolesville, NC who attends Rolesville. Medium to Larger frame with a lean, slender type build with room to fill down the road. Ran a 7.96 second sixty yard dash. Primary Firstbaseman funneling the baseball deep in his stance before working through the baseball well. Great first step taking clean routes to the baseball. Conservative on throws making sure he is accurate to the bag. Good glove work that projects well. Secondary Righthanded pitcher working into a belt high leg lift while balanced throughout motion. Falls off to Firstbase side upon release. Compact arm action with an over the top arm slot. Struggled early with command and then found a groove. Fastball up to 72 MPH as he got outs. Righthanded hitter starting from a balanced stance before throwing weight on back side. Keeps weight on backside throughout swing showing an uphill swing path. Outstanding Student.
